May I crave your indulgence to write in support of the Cause of the Servant of God, Monsignor Melchior de Marion Brésillac, for his Canonization.
One of the greatest Missionaries I encountered in my minor seminary Church History studies and whose life impressed me most was Monsignor Marion Brésillac. His name was a household word among the seminarians.
He was reputed to be a very holy man, a great missionary, an extremely prayerful person who married his personal Christian convictions, especially about the missions, with what the Church's direction was.
In him the famous eternal words of Christ were vividly exemplified, "By their fruits you will know them," (Matthew 7:16) and "A good tree bears good fruits." (Matthew 7:17)
